I've heard about the errors that some were getting on their XBox, and now I have experienced one myself. The picture on the right doesn't really show it well, but the "Ring of Light’s” lower right quad is lit up red.
The error came about when I tried to open the tray to remove a movie.

thats not the "ring of death" thats a disk drive error
I know.... This one is just on red in the lower right quad.
I got the "Red Ring of Death" about a month later.
I'm on my second 360 now. This new freezes up on me all the time, so the 360 is becoming useless to me.
